Mischa’s featured in a one page article inside the June 2010 issue of Asos magazine. The quotes are brand new and most notably mention that Mischa is designing a jewellery collection to coincide with her successful handbag line. Accessories seem to be her thing so hopefully we’ll get some more information on that shortly. Great to see Mischa Barton: The Brand expanding more and more 😀 Thanks to Chuckia for the tip!
Mischa is featured with a cover and spread of the ASOS.com magazine for the month of June. Mischa and ASOS have a strong relationship courtesy of Mischa’s handbag collection. The new season will be launched soon with ASOS receiving an exclusive design that is surely to be Mischa’s biggest hit. Check out the spread and the ASOS website for more.
Mischa also talks about various other things in the interview including fashion, The Beautiful Life and the press.
NOW hat’s what I call doing it in style! American star Mischa Barton looks tops flying the flag for British fashion.
The jobless It girl says her favourite celebrity style icons are Brits. Now that I like.
The former OC girl – about to launch a handbag range (who needs to act, eh?) – said: “I’ve got friends in London who I think are very fashionable. Girls like Pixie Geldof. And Noel Fielding looks so fantastic.
“They get away with it and they get to be themselves. It’s far more interesting and iconic. In the States they don’t like it when you look too different.”
Here is a preview of one of the upcoming advertisements from Mischa’s handbag collection. The line seems to be doing extremely well with regular sell outs at ASOS, Debenhams and John Lewis in the UK. As mentioned, the collection also just recently launched in Australia (through David Jones) and is also available in Scandinavia.
Just a quick update to mention that Mischa’s handbag collection has gone on sale on ASOS.com. The sale will last only one week and I think a few days have already passed so get in quick!
Both ASOS and Debenhams have launched 3 new styles of Mischa’s bag collection (6 in total). ASOS features the exclusive line of 100% leather bags from the collection. While Debenhams features the more affordable polyurethane collection.
Debenhams began selling the line last week and featured 10 bags at launch. 2 styles sold out but they’ve since added an additional 3 new styles to their catalogue. Debenhams now has 11 styles for sale.
